The island of Lido di Venezia can be easily reached by vaporetto from various points in the historic center of Venice or by Ferry-boat (car, motorbike, or bicycle transport) from Tronchetto.
Lido di Venezia is an island located east of Venice from where it stretches southward until it meets the other lagoon lido, Pellestrina. The island is famous for its beaches and the Murazzi, the wild nature of Alberoni, the Liberty-style villas of the early twentieth century and its Film Festival.
From Venice historic center to Lido and back you can travel with frequent and direct lines: Line 5.1, Line 5.2, Line 6 and Line 14, active all day with frequencies between 10 and 20 minutes. The travel time varies from 14 to 31 minutes depending on the departure pier.

Lido Urban Bus Service: to reach the various locations on Lido di Venezia there is an urban bus network consisting of 6 bus lines (plus two seasonal lines) that connect the various localities of Lido di Venezia such as Piazzale Santa Maria Elisabetta, San Nicolò, Malamocco, the Palazzo del Cinema, and Alberoni: Line A, Line B, Line C, Line V, Line N. There are also 2 seasonal lines from June to August: Line Ca and Line Co.

Line N (night line) connects Piazzale Santa Maria Elisabetta with the whole Lido passing through Via Sandro Gallo, Ca' Bianca, Malamocco, finally reaching Alberoni and Faro Rocchetta. Here it boards the Ferry reaching Santa Maria del Mare where it begins to run along the Murazzi, stopping at every stop. How long does it take to go from Venice to Lido?

Can I use the 75-minute ticket to go to Lido from Venice?

Yes, but only if you depart from the historic center of Venice or from the closest islands to Venice such as Murano, Le Vignole and Sant'Erasmo. If you depart from Burano, Murano, Torcello, Mazzorbo, the transfers and waiting times will certainly make the travel time exceed 75 minutes. Therefore, on these routes, purchasing a 24-hour ticket is strongly recommended. It is instead not valid for vehicle transport on the Ferry-boat.

Can I arrive at night at Lido from Venice?

Yes, all night long with Line N (night line) with runs every 20/30 minutes departing from San Marco, Piazzale Roma, Station, Grand Canal stops and Tronchetto towards Lido S.M.E. pier.

Can I arrive at Lido from Burano, Torcello, Mazzorbo and Punta Sabbioni?

Yes. From Burano, Mazzorbo, Torcello to Lido (boarding from Burano "B" pier) with Line 14 every 60 minutes (from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM) from Burano "B" pier with a stop at Lido S.M.E. "C" pier. Travel time: from Burano in 51 minutes.
From Punta Sabbioni to Lido, Line 14 is active all night long (1:10 AM to 12:20 AM) with a stop at Lido S.M.E. "C" pier. Travel time: 21 minutes.

Can I arrive by car at Lido from Venice?

Yes, absolutely. By boarding the car on the Ferry-boat Line 17 which goes from Tronchetto in Venice up to Lido. The ferry takes 35 minutes to arrive at Lido San Nicolò pier and is active all year round with runs every 50 minutes.
